Welcome to you and your team from DevPath! We’re glad you are invested in growing your team and maybe even yourself. Here’s a guide to finding your way around as you start your learning journey with us
First, find the email in your inbox from your admin- it should have a subject like this:
“You have been given access to an DevPath Subscription”
You should then see an email that looks something like this:
Once you setup your password, you’re set to start learning with DevPath.
SSO
If your company prefers SSO for logging in, feel free to reach out to your CSM or email us at contact@devpath.com and we can update that for you.
We currently support Okta, G-Suite, and Azure Active Directory.
Next, login, and you should come to your dashboard:
Dashboard
First, Let’s talk about the different areas. Each of these are “snapshot” views, providing a easy-to-review look at what’s happening currently with your team. For Onboarding and Upskilling, each has a deeper level view you can dive into in the menus above:
Members
First, as a manager/admin, you’ll see you can click the button to Add Members on the upper right.
This will open up this screen:
You can add roles in bulk, or you can add them later from Menu > Members.
Once you’ve done that, much like the email you see above, your team members will see a similar email sent to them to set up and access their accounts.
Below, you can see 2 boxes, Active Seats and Pending Invites, both of these are quick views for you as manager/admin to see where your invite and remind process is and how many available licenses you have. You can click “Add Members” to do just that, and you can click “View Pending Invites to see those as well.
Onboarding
These two areas will only show data if you have created an onboarding plan and assigned members to it. Otherwise, you may notice this area as blank. That’s totally fine, depending on your level of access.
The Left Box will show you who has most recently completed a particular Onboarding Path, and give you a number of Completed/Assigned.
The Right Box will give you a view of how teams are progressing through the Onboarding Plans, and you can click “View Progress Report” to dive deeper, or click on the “Onboarding” menu above.
Upskilling
As you scroll down, you’ll see stats on courses your team is currently enrolled in, and your top learners:
To see more, be sure to click on the Upskilling Menu.
Menus
Now that we’ve covered the components of your dashboard, let’s go over the main menus on the left.
To open/access the menu or close the menu, click on the hamburger menu on the top left.

Just like it sounds, this will bring you back to the main dashboard.

As a leader, it’s important to have a clear understanding of what your team has been assigned, what they are working on, haven’t started, and completed. This area offers the opportunity to dig into the data:

Members
Taking the members area of your main dashboard a little deeper, this is the place to do it.
You can name your subscription, see who’s active and “accepted” their invite, what role they have currently, and what team they are on (if you have teams enabled).
If you need to update your member's role, whether they have received a promotion or a change in status or title, you can search by name or email and update appropriately using the drop-down box seen below:
If you see the status as “Pending” you can click the hamburger menu, and you’ll see this screen:
- You can click Resend Invite to encourage them to activate their account.
- You can click Remove User to take them off of the account entirely **
- You can click Add to Team to add them to a team or create one **
Teams
Teams are a great way to bring your team’s roles and hierarchy into the platform.
